Getting people who excel at their jobs to want to come work for you is certainly one challenge. But the next challenge—getting those people to stay at your company—is sometimes more difficult. One of the biggest persuasive methods, of course, is benefits. But those benefits can take many forms in order to respond to the wants and needs of today’s workforce.
For example, people want after-work time to be just that: after-work time. A company that doesn’t respect that is taking away a valuable perk. And getting off when doing good works in the community is another value that employees prize.
