Every piece of marketing that you do is important. But some pack a bigger punch. Take email subject lines, for example. They’re 50 characters—so who cares, right? Turns out, everyone does.
Write a good subject line and you can see tangible results. More readers will open your emails—which means more readers may take the action—buying something, downloading something, signing up for something, for example.
Write a bad one and the exact opposite may happen. Not only will readers not take in the information contained in the email, but they may just do the easiest thing ever and hit “delete.”
